Lucian Vocabulary
Word of the Moment

Eh-Eh - exclamation.  When said with an upward intonation, it can indicate surprise.  When said in a low tone, it indicates disproval.

I am living in Castries, the largest city on the island, and I'm working for the Massade Boys Training Centre, a boys residential detention facility.  I’m working with the trades teachers, in agriculture, woodworking and auto repairs, to help them to make their projects self-sustaining and income generating.  You can read more about the BTC here.
I'm also teaching level one swimming to four to ten year-olds with Trident Swimming Club.
Within the Peace Corps hierarchy, I am the volunteer representative for St. Lucia.  This means I represent volunteer concerns to Administration at meetings with Volunteer Representatives on other islands, relay information from Administration to Volunteers, conduct volunteer meetings and help to coordinate the island's Emergency Action Plan.
